Null Chat

Null Chat is the consumer private-messaging application. It is where a Null ID, a protected inbox, Knock requests, encrypted messages, and payment actions come together in a single conversation surface.

Inside a conversation, Null Chat supports:

• text, replies, and reactions — see Encrypted Messaging;
• images, voice notes, and encrypted attachments — see Encrypted Files;
• message edits and deletion requests;
• disappearing messages — see Disappearing Messages;
• payment actions and verification cards — see Null Pay.

Every conversation in Null Chat begins with permission: unknown senders arrive as a Knock request, not a message in the primary inbox.
